Brand Sanayi 313 is a turkish brand, it was founded by two brother-businessmen from Istanbul Emir and Enis Karavil. Serena Uziyel became a creative director, she has been working as womenswear designer for Zara after she was graduated from Parsons in New York.
The main concept of Sanayi 313 is a combination of traditional Turkish techniques, ottoman-inspired and modern footwear, which is manufactured in Italy. Famous model of the brand can be called grandmothers – slippers on a flat sole with a closed toe and open heel, similar to bedside slipper. According to the founder of the brand, work on one pair takes up to 36 hours.
