Inside Paris Fashion Week with Amina: Style, Trends, and Exclusive Highlights

March 13, 2025

Fashion Week is more than just runway shows—it’s a whirlwind of creativity, high-pressure moments, and unforgettable experiences. Fashion influencer Amina takes us inside her journey at Paris Fashion Week, sharing everything from last-minute outfit decisions to the breathtaking shows that left her in awe. She reveals the brands that captivated her, the trends set to dominate next season, and her go-to Fashion Week survival tips. From meeting Georgina Rodriguez to being mesmerized by the artistry of Georges Hobeika, Amina offers an exclusive look behind the scenes of one of fashion’s most prestigious events.

Amina, how did you prepare for Paris Fashion Week? Did you plan your outfits in advance?

This Paris Fashion Week was both a real challenge and a huge source of inspiration and motivation for me. I realized that I handle stressful situations well and can fully immerse myself in work at 100%. I personally selected all my outfits—sometimes the night before the show, and sometimes even an hour before the event (as was the case with the Isabel Marant show). Considering that this was only second time in Paris, I think I did a great job. Imagine this: I didn’t know the local malls, local brands, was unfamiliar with the city, didn’t speak French, and didn’t have a stylist. This isn’t New York, where I navigate like a fish in water. This is Paris! Overall, this Fashion Week made me proud of myself. I deserve a reward—time to treat myself with a gift!

Which shows impressed you the most?

Every show I had the chance to attend was truly spectacular and deserving of a standing ovation. But if I had to highlight one, it would be Coperni. I was amazed by the set design, the level of preparation, and the sheer scale of the event. And the brand’s guests—pure love!

Did you have a favorite look from the shows? Which one and why?

If I could, I would take half of the collections from each show home with me! Each of them is unique and absolutely worth the attention. However, I particularly want to highlight the Elie Saab and G. Hobeika shows. Maybe it’s my Middle Eastern roots, but something in my DNA resonates deeply with their designs. Seeing their collections literally took my breath away.

Which brands do you especially enjoy working with?

Every brand is unique in its own way. Each has its own aesthetic, and every brand teaches you something new. If a brand aligns with my vision of style and beauty, I am always happy to collaborate with them.

What does a day in the life of an influencer at Fashion Week look like? Do you have any rituals or life hacks to keep up with everything?

Fashion Week requires 100% focus and commitment. The key is to complete all work deadlines in advance and arrive in Paris fully dedicated to the event.
My life hacks:
Arrange a photographer, stylist, and makeup artist in advance.
✔ Stay in hotels close to the show venues.
✔ Download multiple taxi apps to always have an alternative.
✔ Even better—secure a private driver for the entire trip.

Did you get the chance to meet any designers or celebrities? Any memorable moments?

The most memorable moment for me was meeting Georgina Rodriguez at the Coperni show. I was looking at her in disbelief—she is not only incredibly beautiful, striking, and influential in the industry but also extremely kind and humble. And when she complimented my outfit, it was the ultimate confirmation that I was doing something right!

What was the most unusual show or event you attended this time?

For me, the most unexpected moment was the G. Hobeika show. It made me want to get married —just so I could wear one of their wedding dresses! This isn’t just fashion—it’s pure art. Completely enchanted and now officially a fan of the brand!

Paris Fashion Week isn’t just about the shows but also the afterparties. Which event impressed you the most?

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to attend many parties since this trip was spontaneous, and I had to handle everything myself—scheduling, transfers, booking stylists and makeup artists. But one party that truly stood out was the Diesel event. I couldn’t stop admiring the guests! Their outfits were so intricate, layered, and well-thought-out—every detail was worth analyzing under a microscope. Not just a party, but **pure inspiration**

What are your plans after Paris Fashion Week? Any new projects or trips coming up?

This year is incredibly busy and exciting for me. After Paris, I plan to take a short break in Turkey, then head back to the US. Up next—Met Gala, the Cannes Film Festival, and preparations for the upcoming Fashion Weeks in Copenhagen, New York, Milan, and Paris.
